Nutrition Design Guaranteed Analysis Feeding Guide

Nutrition & Feeding / 01

Three recipes.
One nutrition philosophy.

Chicken, Pork and Salmon each bring a different primary ingredient and flavor, but the nutritional philosophy remains the same. Three recipes, designed to be chosen by preference without changing the fundamentals of the daily diet.

Protein / Balance

Are higher numbers always better?
Not necessarily.

24%PROTEIN MIN. 370KCAL / 100G

Perfection provides at least 24% crude protein, comfortably meeting AAFCO’s standard for adult maintenance. Research published in a journal of the American Society of Animal Science has likewise not shown that dramatically increasing crude protein automatically produces superior nutritional outcomes. What matters is ingredient quality and the balance of the diet as a whole. Perfection does not add meat meals simply to compete on protein percentage.

Balance / Everyday Wellness

No single nutrient
supports the whole body.

3% / 1%OMEGA 6 / OMEGA 3 1.3% / 1%CALCIUM / PHOSPHORUS

Skin, coat, bones and everyday condition all depend on nutrients working together. Omega-6 and omega-3, calcium and phosphorus, glucosamine and chondroitin are designed as parts of one complete daily bowl.

Feeding / Life Stage

The right amount changes
with the life your dog lives.

Two dogs at the same weight can have different energy needs depending on age, activity and condition. Use the feeding guide as a starting point, then adjust by watching the dog in front of you.

The Numbers, Explained

Every number
has a role.

Guaranteed analysis is not a contest of more versus less. Each value makes sense only in relation to energy, other nutrients and the diet as a whole.

01 / PROTEIN 24% min.

Build and maintain the body.

Protein is essential not only for muscle, but also for skin, coat, enzymes and countless structures throughout the body. All three recipes guarantee at least 24% crude protein.

02 / FAT 18% min.

Energy for everyday activity.

Fat is an energy-dense nutrient that also supports the use of fat-soluble vitamins and supplies essential fatty acids. Feeding amounts are adjusted with that energy density in mind.

03 / ENERGY 370kcal / 100g

Think in calories, not just grams.

Two foods can provide very different calories in the same 100 grams. Perfection provides 370 kcal per 100 g; adjust the daily amount for body condition and activity, not weight alone.

04 / OMEGA 3% / 1%OMEGA 6 / OMEGA 3

Essential fatty acids, every day.

Omega-6 is guaranteed at 3% and omega-3 at 1%. Both are essential groups of fatty acids and part of the nutritional design supporting healthy skin, coat and whole-body wellbeing.

05 / MINERALS 1.3% / 1%CALCIUM / PHOSPHORUS

Calcium and phosphorus work as a pair.

Calcium is guaranteed at 1.3% or more and phosphorus at 1.0% or more. These two minerals are important to the skeleton, and their relationship matters as much as the individual amounts.

06 / JOINT COMPONENTS 1500 / 1200mg / kg

Built into the everyday bowl.

Glucosamine at 1,500 mg/kg and chondroitin at 1,200 mg/kg are included as part of the everyday formula—not as an occasional extra.

Puppy

Divide into 3–4 meals per day and soften with lukewarm water or pet milk if needed. During growth, use approximately twice the maintenance feeding guide as a starting point.

02 / PREGNANCY & LACTATION

Pregnancy & Lactation

During pregnancy, start at about 25% above the guide; from whelping through weaning, about 50% above the guide.

03 / SENIOR

Senior

For seniors, consider 15–30% less than the guide depending on weight, condition and activity.

One More Thing

Do not let body weight alone decide the portion.

The feeding chart is a starting point. Dogs of the same weight may need different amounts depending on activity, body condition and age. Adjust as needed and always provide fresh water.
